At 3,831 hours, performed 1,000 hour service
At 4,412 hours, performed 2,000 hour service
At 4,974 hours, performed 500 hour service
At 5,525 hours, cleaned DPF
At 5,744 hours, installed NEW front crankshaft seal
At 5,744 hours, removed, cleaned & pressure tested cooling package
At 6,015 hours, REBUILT transmission
At 6,015 hours, REBUILT transmission pump
At 6,015 hours, REBUILT torque converter
At 6,015 hours, installed NEW ARD head
At 6,026 hours, performed 2,000 hour service
At 6,051 hours, installed NEW a/c compressor & belt

When unit arrived in yard, MEL had local CAT dealer complete the following:
Strip machine for power washing
CAT TA inspection
Update ECM flash files
Cut open all filters & inspect for contaminates - all clean
Service emissions system if needed (filters, DPF, spark plug, injector, etc)
Inspect magnetic plugs/screens & suction screens - all clean
Serviced engine
Check oil levels
Inspect oils for discolouration
Check for logged & active codes & repair
Check for applicable service letters
Changed engine, final drive, transmission & hydraulic oils
Completed the following pressure checks to ensure within OEM spec:
Fan pressure & speed
Engine RPM high & low idle
Engine oil high & low idle pressures
Fuel pressure
Torque convertor stall speed
Full stall boost
Implement standby pressure
Transmission pump pressure
Torque inlet/outlet pressures
Torque convertor lock-up clutch
Flywheel low pressure - high/low
Transmission lube pressure - high/low
Performed clutch fill calibration
Steering system charge pressure
Brake pressure
Based on inspection, CAT mechanic completed the following repairs;
Installed NEW DEF tank screen & cap
Installed NEW DEF injector
Installed NEW ARD spark plug
Installed NEW fast fill vent
Installed NEW pivot shaft oil reservoir bottle
Removed cab, torque convertor & engine from machine
REBUILT pump drive assembly
RESEALED flywheel housing
Installed NEW bottom end bearings (main, rod & thrust) with updated bearing kit
Installed NEW rear crankshaft seal
Resealed oil pan
Installed NEW engine mounts
Completed engine valve & injector set
Disassembled & inspected engine oil pump
Installed NEW engine belts
Installed NEW engine belt idler pulley
Installed NEW hoses/lines within chassis as required
Installed NEW EGR cooler pipe
Installed NEW heater valves
Installed NEW batteries & battery cables
Installed NEW service bay harness
Installed NEW a/c hoses & dryer
Resealed priority housing
Installed NEW hoses/lines as required
Installed NEW driveshaft u-joints
Installed all NEW heater hoses
Resealed outlet relief valve & suction tube
REBUILT/Resealed main hydraulic control valve
Stripped & cleaned condenser assembly & fans
Resealed blade lift cylinders
Marcel Equipment completed the following repairs;
Completed required cosmetic & welding repairs
Completed required blade repairs
Replaced required blade pins & bushings
Line bored blade joints where required
Prepped machine for sandblasting & painting
Sandblasted, primed, painted & detailed
Assembled machine once completed
Greased machine
Machine is now ready for work.
