Unit had been CAT maintained since 10,986 hours
At 11,548 hours, CAT dealer REBUILT the rear axle with NEW crown & pinion & NEW bearings in differential & final drives
At 12,015 hours, torque, transmission and transfer case were replaced with used/reconditioned components
At 12,015 hours, exhaust manifold was replaced with NEW
At 12,444 hours, front axle had a complete rebearing and reseal and NEW front driveshaft installed
At 13,100 hours, Marcel Equipment completed the following:
Upon arrival to our yard, all guards & covers were removed & machine was power washed
Completed visual & operational inspections
Changed engine oil & filter
Filter was cut open & checked for contaminates - clean
Changed transmission oil & filter, filter checked - clean
Checked suction screens - good
Changed hydraulic oil & filter, filter checked - clean
Both differential oil levels good & oils clean
All 4 wheel planetary levels good & oils clean
Checked rear axle oscillation - good
Checked center articulation - good
Installed NEW pins & bearings in steering cylinders
Checked all brake lines
Installed NEW fan belts
Installed NEW a/c compressor belt
Installed NEW condenser assembly
Installed NEW rear diff seal
Installed NEW engine mounts
Installed NEW output seals on transfer case
Installed NEW block heater
Installed NEW thermostats
Inspected & greased all u-joints on driveshaft
Checked all gauges, controls, lights & heater
Load tested batteries & checked all connections
Checked all grease lines & greased machine
Performed performance tests on engine
Checked torque convertor stall speed
Checked all transmission pressures
Checked all hydraulic pressures
Unit was sand blasted, primed, painted & new decals applied.
