Forkwest was opened in Picton in 1993 by Phil Baker The Picton workshop was used until 1996, we then relocated to our own workshop in Halifax, Bunbury. Forkwest has a modern and fully equipped workshop catering for forklift servicing to full overhauls and rebuilds. Forkwest can cater for new and secondhand forklift sales, electric and hand pallet trolleys. Spare parts are stocked in Bunbury, parts we don't carry are available from genuine or after market suppliers in Perth (most parts are available on overnight services). We also wreck forklifts. Forkwest also incorporates Westate Industrial Repairs which carries out repairs to all commercial vehicles including 4 wheel drives, utes, trucks etc. Products supplied are new and used forklifts: LPG, Diesel, Electric, Hand Pallet Trolleys, Hydraulic Attachments We also hire forklifts and sell Karcher floor sweeping equipment. Forkwest is a member of the Bunbury Chamber of Commerce for the advancement of industry in the South West. Since its entry into the material handling industry 15 years ago, Forkwest has earned a reputation for exceptional sales, hire and customer service. We sell new Yale and Liftsmart forklifts, which include electric, LPG and diesel models. We also sell all brands of used forklifts from 1 ton to 40 ton, and we hire new and used forklifts on long and short term agreements. Our forklift servicing covers the south west area, and we offer a 24 hour breakdown service as well. Forkwest are also sells MerloTelehandlers and JLG and currently sell the German brand Schaffer. Articulated loaders with 7 different sizes currently available.
